JIAC V – A MAS Framework for Industrial Applications

Our paper “JIAC V – A MAS Framework for Industrial Applications” will be presented at AAMAS 2013 in St Paul, MN, USA. In this paper, we provide a basic overview on JIAC V and describe how it meets the requirements of industrial applications.

Abstract: Agent-oriented research and technologies have produced a number of relevant and valuable results. However, industrial stakeholders are still reluctant to adopt agent technologies for their products. Modern industrial projects put a set of requirements on software frameworks, which are often neglected by contemporary agent frameworks. In an attempt to close this gap, we present the JIAC V agent framework.
